In April 2004, a new revision of the genus Echinodorus was published by Aqua Press. The revision was made by Karel Rataj, who had made a first revision in 1975. Many of the formerly
well known species (like E. amazonicus) are now valid again. He described 4 new species and now the volume of the genus is 62 species, 2 subspecies and 2 varieties .
The book contains beside drawings also pictures of the plants, to give a better understanding. Some of my pictures are published in this book. It has 144 pages.
